What areas do you cover?
We proudly serve Austin and Central Texas, including Temple, Killeen, Georgetown, Round Rock, Buda, San Marcos, Elgin, Bastrop, West Lake, South Austin, North Austin, Leander, and Liberty Hill. We can travel beyond these areas for a modest travel fee. Contact us to confirm your location. If we're too far out, we'll do our best to refer you to a trusted provider nearby.

Why hire a professional?
Why hire a professional? You get consistent, high-quality results from someone who knows the craft and uses the right tools. Not everyone who claims to be a pro follows pro standards. We use only cosmetic-grade, skin-safe paints from trusted brands. Acrylics and craft paints don't belong on skin.

Do you carry insurance?
 Yes, we carry liability insurance through Bodywork Insurance. While many professional entertainers          do, not everyone does. It's an important protection for you and your event.

Do you have a minimum booking time?
Yes, our minimum is two hours. For smaller parties, add-ons may be available at our discretion and may involve an additional fee. As a guideline, we can accommodate about 12 to 15 children per hour. Additional charges may apply if extra coverage is needed. Very occasionally, we can do a one-hour party if it's close to home and the schedule allows.

How many faces can you paint in one hour?
For quick, simple designs like rainbows, flowers, mustaches, and scars, we can paint about eighteen to twenty faces per hour. For standard full-face designs, like unicorns, superheroes, butterflies, and tigers we can comfortably paint twelve to fifteen per hour.

Can you match my party theme?
Absolutely. Just tell us your theme when you book and we'll prep designs to match. More detailed designs and younger children can take a little longer, so we'll help you choose the right amount of time for your event.

When should I book?
It's advisable to book as soon as the date is confirmed. We'd love to be there for your special day. To make sure you get your preferred time, please book as soon as your date and time are set. Popular dates go fast, and we'd hate for you to miss out.

Will I need to pay a retainer fee?
 Yes. A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your event date. The balance is due no later than 24 hours before your event. That keeps everything on track for your day.

What do I need to provide?
To give everyone our best work, we’ll need a shaded area—trees, while nice, aren’t adequate shade. Temperatures colder than 60° or hotter than 100°, we’ll need to be indoors, since standing and painting in extreme temperatures can be risky for us. We know your guests can pop in and out of indoors, but we can’t, so we really appreciate your understanding and support in making sure we have the right setup!

How much do you charge?
Our pricing varies based on your event length, services, and location. Travel fees may apply. Holiday pricing applies to events on July4th, Halloween and the preceding weekend, Easter, Christmas, and                           New Year's Eve. Contact us for a personalized quote.

Can you paint at Charity Events?
 We truly love giving back. Since this is how most of our artists make their living, fully donating time isn't always possible. Each year, many of us support one or two causes we care about, either through a discount or in-kind support. If you have an event, please reach out. We'll let you know if we're available and what we can offer." That keeps the door open without over promising.
 
Who Can be Painted?
We generally recommend face painting for ages three and up. However, we're happy to do a small design for children ages two and above on if they're comfortable and can sit still. Parents know their child best and are responsible for any sensitivities or reactions. As always, we'll prioritize safety and your child's comfort.

What if my child objects?
We always put a child's comfort first. If a child isn't sure or doesn't want to be painted, we'll respect that choice, even if a parent would prefer otherwise. Face painting can feel strange for little ones, especially since it's someone new doing something they can't see. We don't paint children who are upset or crying. Thanks so much for understanding!

What if I have a rash or other skin condition?
If you have a skin rash or other skin concern, we want to make sure you're comfortable and safe. We don't paint over cold sores, pink eye, eczema flare-ups, open cuts, or any irritated areas. If there's a spot of concern, we're happy to do a design on the arm or hand instead. If you're unsure, just ask and we'll find an option that works.

What about sickness?
To keep everyone safe and comfortable, we can't paint anyone who is showing cold or flu symptoms. If your child feels feverish, we'll ask to skip face painting. For children with allergies or hay fever, we recommend a small design on the cheek, hand, or arm." We just ask that you give your child's face a quick wipe, especially around the nose, before they hop into the chair.

How do I remove face paint?
For water-based paints, just use warm water and a soft washcloth. Soaps optional. We don't recommend baby wipes on faces; they can irritate some skin. For water-resistant paints, start on dry skin with a gentle makeup remover or mild liquid soap. Work it in until it lathers and breaks down the paint, then rinse with warm water. If skin is sensitive, consider a design on the arm or hand instead. When in doubt, check the product label or patch test first.

Do you have the right to turn away clients?
We prioritize a safe and respectful environment. Therefore, we reserve the right to kindly refuse service to anyone displaying abusive, violent, intoxicated, or inappropriate behavior. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

We truly love what we do, and this is our profession. While we can't offer free services or work for exposure, we highly recommend a sponsor. Many companies enjoy sponsoring children's entertainment at events, including charities, so that’s always a great option to explore.
